What is Rebooking rate?

Rebooking rate is the percentage of completed appointments where the client leaves with their next appointment already booked. It is the strongest leading indicator of retention in appointment-based businesses: a client with a future booking has a standing reason to return; one without is a reactivation campaign waiting to happen.

How it works in an aesthetic clinic

Checkout prompts every neurotoxin client to book their next visit inside the treatment window before paying. A front desk converting 70 of 100 checkouts into future bookings runs a 70% rebooking rate; the other 30 flow into automated follow-up timed to the treatment interval. The number is tracked per provider and per service, for coaching rather than blame.

Retention rateThe lagging outcome, measured across months of client behavior

Why it matters for clinic operators

Rebooking is the cheapest retention lever a clinic owns: the client is standing there, the interval is known, and the ask takes ten seconds. Everything later (campaigns, win-backs) costs more and converts less.
